Problems Can Be Reported To WCSA Complaint Line During April Election

Voters who experience problems or come across irregularities on April 4 can report the issues to the Will County State's Attorney's Office.

WILL COUNTY, IL — The Will County State's Attorney's Office will operate a complaint line on Election Day April 4, officials announced.

Voters who experience problems and irregularities or witness possible illegal activity — including electioneering, illegally placed campaign signs or denial of voting rights — at any of the voting precincts in Will County can call 815-727-8872.

"We can all help preserve the integrity of our election process by staying alert for unusual activities at or near polling places and reporting irregularities," State's Attorney James Glasgow said in a statement.

Two-person teams, consisting of one assistant state's attorney and one investigator, will travel to polling places to investigate irregularities if they are reported. Assistant state's attorneys not assigned to specific teams will be dispatched as needed to investigate allegations reported to the hotline.
