Public Hearing On Projected Surplus District 202 Budget

The meeting will start with the public hearing before the board adjourns to closed session.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A public hearing on Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202's proposed 2018-2019 budget is set for Monday night at the district administration center, 15732 Howard St. A year after the proposed 2017 showed a projected $9.3 million deficit, district officials said this year's proposed operating budget is $7.6 million ahead, thanks to a new state funding formula.

The meeting will start with the public hearing at 6:30 p.m. before the board adjourns to closed session. The public portion of the meeting starts at 7:30 p.m., and the board is expected to vote on the tentative budget.
