Public invited to Green Village Program about Spring Birds of Lake Renwick on March 13

Community members and bird lovers are invited to learn more about the birds of Lake Renwick at a Green Village series program on Monday, March 13 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Plainfield Public Library, located at 15025 S. Illinois St. in downtown Plainfield.

Learn about the dazzling spectacle of herons, egrets, and cormorants nesting at Lake Renwick Heron Rookery. Chris Gutmann from the Will County Forest Preserve discusses this local gem and provides information on guided tours. The Green Village Series is in partnership with Village of Plainfield.
