Public invited to Green Village Program about Vegetable and Herb Gardening on May 8

Community members and garden enthusiasts are invited to learn more about herb and vegetable gardens at a Green Village series program on Monday, May 8 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Plainfield Public Library, located at 15025 S. Illinois St. in downtown Plainfield.

Are you ready to produce a healthy and vigorous vegetable and herb garden? Instructor Kausi Chandran provides environmentally safe ideas for preparing the soil, fertilizing, pest control and maintenance. The Green Village Series is in partnership with the Village of Plainfield.
