Public invited to Patricia Hruby Powell Author Visit on January 16

Community members are invited to an author visit on Monday January 16 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Plainfield Public Library, located at 15025 S. Illinois St. in downtown Plainfield.

Author, Dancer and Storyteller Patricia Hruby Powell discusses her award-winning book Josephine: The Dazzling Life of Josephine Baker, explains why she writes about diverse subjects/characters and cultivates enthusiasm for reading and research. Book signing to follow event. Books will be available for purchase. Recommended for ages 8 and older.
