PUBLIC OPINION AND IDEAS SOUGHT FOR THE PARK DISTRICT AND ITS FUTURE PLANS
The site can be accessed by going to http://plainfieldparkplan.mindmixer.com

As part of the ongoing review of its comprehensive master plan, the Plainfield Park District has opened a website through which the public can offer their insights, ideas and opinions. Through an Internet portal known as MindMixer, District residents can join the discussion of how the Park District can best meet the needs and desires of the pubic in the next few years. The site can be accessed by going to http://plainfieldparkplan.mindmixer.com or by following the link on the Plainfield Park District’s own home webpage.
“When we began this review of our Comprehensive Master Plan, we wanted to give our residents every opportunity to share their opinions and ideas about the Park District,” said Executive Director Carlo Capalbo. “We’ve sought the opinions of community leaders, our Board members and staff, and conducted an open town meeting this week to obtain a broad range of public opinion. This new web-based platform is yet another chance for people to get involved and assist our planning efforts.”
The new web discussion will be up and running for the next several weeks to give everyone who desires to comment an opportunity to do so. Any questions about the MindMixer discussion site or the update of the Park District’s comprehensive master plan can be answered by calling the Park District at (815) 436-8812.
