The community is invited to a free event where they can learn about books before they are published at the Plainfield Public Library on Tuesday, May 9 at 7 p.m. The Library is located at 15025 S. Illinois St. in downtown Plainfield.

At the event, called “Spring Book Buzz,” a representative from Random House will talk to attendees about several forthcoming books. At the end of the night, participants will get to take home a free copy of an advanced release book. They’ll also leave with a free book catalog and canvas tote bag that reads “Borrow. Read. Repeat.”

There will be limited seating at the event, so please register as soon as possible. For more information, or to register, please visit http://bit.ly/ppldbookbuzz17 or call 815-327-2515. To learn more about the Plainfield Public Library, visit www.plainfieldpubliclibrary.org.
