PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield Park District recently announced the hiring of Brad Keene as the new Recreation Manager of Athletics.

Keene comes to Plainfield with over 18 years of Parks and Recreation experience serving in various positions at the Bartlett Park District, Wheaton Park District, and Woodridge Park District.

In these positions, he was responsible for planning, budgeting, organizing, publicizing, staffing, scheduling and safety of all assigned programs, special events, services, facilities and other duties as required. This included employee and volunteer recruitment, training, and supervision; adult athletic leagues; youth softball, youth basketball, open gym, martial arts, tennis, teen programs and various other programs and special events.

Brad is a graduate of Aurora University with a bachelor’s degree in recreation administration. He resides in Romeoville and is a sports enthusiast.
