Reel in the Fun at Plainfield Park District Fishing Derby on September 10!
This is a morning of catch and release fishing for ages 3-13.
Plainfield Park District presents Fall Fishing Derby (program #16406A1) on September 10 from 9-10:30a at Van Horn Woods East, 17200 S. Frontage Rd., Plainfield. This is a morning of catch and release fishing for ages 3-13 w/Responsible Adult.
Bring your bait, bucket and fishing pole to Van Horn Woods Pond to test your angling skills! The derby will be divided into three age divisions: 3-5, 6-8 and 9-13. Awards will be given to the winner of each age division for the longest fish! Registered participants will receive a goodie bag when they sign in and be entered into a raffle (winners must be present). All children must be accompanied by an adult. Preregistration cost per child R $5/NR $7, day of event per child cost $7, while supplies last.
