Registration Opens For Catholic Charities Back-To-School Pantry

PLAINFIELD, IL — Registration is open for the annual back-to-school fair hosted by Catholic Charities and the Diocese of Joliet.

Each summer, the organizations team up to provide free food and backpacks filled with school supplies to children from low-income families in need of help before the start of the school year.

The event will take place as a drive-thru from 2-6 p.m. July 24 at St. Mary Immaculate, 15629 Route 59 in Plainfield. Pre-registration — the only way to participate in the event — is required.
