Renwick Road Improvements: Open House Set For Wednesday

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Village of Plainfield will host public meeting on roadway improvements along Renwick Road, between River Road and Route 59, from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Village Hall, 24401 W Lockport St. The project will consist of reconstructing the existing two-lane segment of roadway to provide a two-way roadway with one travel lane in each direction and a median and left turn lanes at intersections.

New sidewalk and a shared use path will be constructed along the north side of Renwick Road.

Wednesday's public hearing will be conducted in an open house format. Maps, drawings and aerial exhibits will be on display and information will be provided regarding the proposed improvements, the anticipated detour, right-of-way acquisition and the tentative construction schedule.
