Severe Storms, Strong Winds Could Hit Chicago Monday Night
Main threat is high winds, which could cause damage in Chicagland.

Much of the Chicago area was at "marginal" or "enhanced risk" of severe weather Monday night, according to WGN, which said strong storms could increase the risk of damaging winds.
"The main threats will be heavy rains, dangerous lightning and strong winds," the Joliet Weather Center reported Monday afternoon.
A cold front is expected to move into the area during the late evening, bringing showers and storms. Storms are expected to taper off during the early morning as the cold front leave the area, according to WGN.

A gale warning for Lake Michigan is in effect until 3 a.m. Tuesday.
