“She treasures her Church Friendships and Dedicated Priests

Jan will be honored at the Cathedral Mass

JAN GARBIN - “CCW WOMAN OF THE YEAR”

It was with the huge support of the Membership of St. Mary Immaculate’s Council of Catholic Women that Jan Garbin was chosen“CCW Woman of the Year for 2019”. In addition to being a past CCW Secretary twice, Historian and longtime Member of the Parish, she is a Volunteer helping with Funeral Luncheons and other Church Organizations when needed. Jan is always willing to assist in her own special way where needed with graciousness and “Mary-like” spirit.

Her wonderful Family is so important to her. She has been a Wife for over 50 years, a terrific Mom, and a dedicated Grandmother. She transfers her caring of them to CCW and the Parish.

Whenever you may see Jan participating in the SMI Bible Study or Special Programs, it’s a pleasure to talk with her. She truly demonstrates the faith-filled Catholic Woman of today in every way possible. “She treasures her Church Friendships and Dedicated Priests at St. Mary Immaculate!”

Jan will be honored at the Cathedral Mass celebrated by Rev. John Sebahar, the Spiritual Advisor for the Joliet Diocesan CCW, with additional Celebrants to include our CCW Spiritual Moderator, Father John Regan, on Saturday, April 27th.
