Shots Fired Near Pavilion Place, Terrace Boulevard: Plainfield PD
The Monday night shooting is currently under investigation by Plainfield police.
PLAINFIELD, IL — A shooting occurred Monday night in a residential area in northern Plainfield, according to Plainfield police.
Officers responded at about 10:51 p.m. to a report of shots fired near a residence in the area around Pavilion Place and Terrace Boulevard. Police found the property had sustained damage and collected "several spent firearms cartridges" from the shooting, according to a news release issued Tuesday morning.
Police said no injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.

Detectives are actively investigating the incident, officials said. Anyone who witnessed or has information about the shooting is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Ron Mikos at 815-267-7237 or Detective Cody Columbus at 815-267-7174.
