'Shrimp Barn' to Replace Mexican Restaurant in Downtown Plainfield
Restaurant to fill vacant space on Lockport Street.
In addition to voting to establish regulations for a medical marijuana dispensary, new surveillance cameras and a new traffic light for Route 126 and Meadow, the Plainfield Village Board is scheduled to vote on a liquor license for a new restaurant on Monday.
On the agenda is a license for Shrimp Barn & Grill, set to open soon at 24136 W. Lockport St., according to the village website.
The site is the former location of Fiesta Mexicana, which closed last winter.
