Spirit Halloween Stores Open For 2022 In Plainfield

PLAINFIELD, IL — It’s September, and with fall unofficially underway, the Halloween season has arrived. And for all your spooky shopping needs, more than 1,400 seasonal Spirit Halloween stores have opened nationwide, including one in Plainfield.

Spirit sells Halloween decor, plus costumes and accessories for children, teens and adults. The store in Plainfield is open in the former Party City at 11830 Route 59.

Customers who do their shopping online can filter costumes by category including TV shows, movies, decades, clowns — and more specifically, "scary clowns" — and more. Filters are also available by size, price or rating.

There are nearly eight weeks until Halloween, but Spirit already has popular costumes, including characters from "Stranger Things," "Top Gun," "Encanto" and more.
