Parish School Eighth Grade Honor Awards Ceremony

The St. Mary Immaculate Parish School held the Annual Eighth Grade Honor Awards Ceremony on Monday, May 23 in the Church. The event was attended by the student body, teachers, parents, and family members.

Awards were presented to members of the eighth grade graduating class just a few days prior to their Graduation Mass, which was held on Tuesday, May 24 in the Church. Valedictorian and Salutatorian were announced, then the top 2 students in each subject, and finally special awards and scholarships as follows.

Co-Salutatorian: Sarah Conley and Madison Mikuska

Religion: Lindsey DSatko and Chris Aguilar

In addition, several group awards were announced, including the Presidential Award which was received by a substantial portion of the graduating class, and the Student Recognition Award which was earned by all the eighth grade members of the Academic Team. Congratulations to all these hard working and conscientious students for their accomplishments at SMI, and best wishes as they head to high school in the fall.
