St. Mary Immaculate VBS Huge Success

From June 19 through June 23, 2017 211 students and 75 volunteers attended St. Mary Immaculate Vacation Bible School! Our theme was “Mighty Fortress” and our halls were transformed into stone walls of a castle complete with a drawbridge.

Each day the children learned that in Jesus the victory was won! God’s victory was shown in Bible accounts of the fall of Jericho, God’s rescue of King Hezekiah’s kingdom, King Josiah’s reading of God’s Word, the Savior King's triumphal entry, and Jesus’ victory through His death and resurrection.

Each VBS day started with the children gathering with their Crew Leaders for opening prayer, songs and a video. They then headed off to five rotation sites for Storytelling, Bible Challenge, Snacks, Games and Crafts! The week ended with a Closing Mass and a potluck/pizza party!!
