Students Help Feed the Hungry

The youths packed up food to be delivered to Feed My Starving Children

SHOREWOOD, IL -- Trinity Christian School recently hosted a mobile pack event with Feed My Starving Children to provide meals to hungry children around the world.

Volunteers from area churches and other schools helped pack a total of 93, 312 meals -- or meals for a year for 255 children -- in one day. The meals packed will be sent to countries around the globe to feed hungry children.

The event was a result of a partnership between Trinity Christian School, Feed My Starving Children in Aurora and several area churches. Sponsor churches helped cover the cost of the meals that were packed.
