'Summer Sunday' Free Concert In Plainfield

PLAINFIELD, IL — Local businesses will present a free concert in downtown Plainfield this Sunday. Nova Soul Quartet, a jazz and pop group, will perform from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 11, at the corner of Des Plaines and Lockport streets during the free "Summer Sunday Music On The Strip" concert.

The concert is sponsored by the Law Offices of John F. Argoudelis LLC, Sovereign, Wine & Cheese by TCC, Capri Sogno, MORA Asian Fusion, Marsaglia Insurance Agency, Lincoln Way Barber Shop, Opera House Steak & Seafood, Miller's Old Fashioned Butcher Shop and HopScotch & Vine.

"What to do on a Summer Sunday? Visit downtown Plainfield and take in the shops, food and drinks — now with live music included for free," organizers said on the event Facebook page. "This is our new Summer Music series we hope will become a regular event."
