Sunburn? What to do?

Every summer we are faced with keeping the harmful sun rays from causing a sunburn on our families.  Some ways to avoid a sunburn is to reapply sunscreen every couple of hours and wear a wide brimmed hat.  But, mistakes happen.  If you have a sunburn, try this remedy from Dr. Rodan and Dr. Fields, Stanford trained dermatologists and creators of ProActiv:
"While protection against the sun is always the best policy, accidents do happen. If you suspect you have an impending sunburn, take two aspirin immediately to interrupt the inflammatory pathway that produces the signs and symptoms of a burn. If you’re already inflamed, try a cold compress of a washcloth soaked in whole milk (the milk proteins can help relieve discomfort), and follow with a soothing, calming lotion to reduce the appearance of redness and help prevent blistering and peeling."

Essentials body sunscreen is a nonsticky, nonwhitening, water-resistant broad spectrum SPF 30 protection against aging UVA and burning UVB rays.  Perfect for the whole family!  www.KathyMartini.myRandF.com
