Ten Drops Coffee, Imperial Oak Brewing Join Forces To Create Beer

PLAINFIELD, IL — A coffee lab and a brewery are joining forces to produce a beverage that blends the two beloved drinks.

Plainfield's Ten Drops Coffee Lab and Willow Spring's Imperial Oak Brewing are collaborating to draft three coffee-infused beers that are sure to "freak your olfactory and tantalize those tastebuds," brewers said.

To introduce the beverages, Imperial Oak will host an event from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday in its Savage Oak Room, 501 Willow Boulevard. Guests will have the chance to taste the new beers as well as fresh pours of coffee that will be prepared on-site by Ten Drops.

To satisfy any food cravings, Tacos Los Jarochitos will be serving up Mexican breakfast items during the event.
