Tickets on Sale for 'Guys and Dolls Jr.' Musical by YPAC
Casts Perform Family-Friendly Version of this Classic on August 2-3

Hit the town for an incredible time! Come see the impressive cast of youngsters from Your Performing Arts Center (YPAC) as they put a family friendly spin on a classic, Guys and Dolls Jr., on August 2 and 3. Two casts – one based in Yorkville and one in Plainfield – will stage the musical featuring favorite songs like "Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat" and "Luck Be a Lady."
"This classic musical is sure to win the hearts of Dolls and Guys alike," said Beth Jackson, YPAC Theatre Community Director. "These students work hard to hone their skills and are excited to share their talents with their communities."
The shows feature youth, ages 5 to 17, who have been working closely together on the show for weeks, under the direction of YPAC staff. The 74 cast members represent several towns, including Yorkville, Plainfield, Bolingbrook, Morris, Plano, Oswego, Montgomery, Newark, Channahon, Crest Hill, Romeoville, Shorewood, Naperville, Minooka and Joliet.

Tickets for all four shows are now on sale. The Plainfield cast will take the stage at 7 pm Friday, August 2 and at 11 am Saturday, August 3. The Yorkville cast takes the stage on Saturday, August 3 at 3 pm and 7 pm. All performances are at Community Commons Auditorium, 24035 Riverwalk Court, Plainfield.
Order tickets online through July 31 at www.ypacarts.com. Adult tickets are $15, Child tickets are $10. General Admission tickets will also be available at the door for $20 Adult, $15 Child.

Led by Jackson, the YPAC Theatre Team for this Spring 2019 production includes Aaron Flynn, Plainfield Director; Emily Schreiber, Yorkville Director; Mia Mellecker, Creative Director; Amanda Arnold, Choreographer; Wendy Appling, Musical Theatre Kids Instructor; Ryan Neil, Stage Manager; Miranda Knox, Assistant Scenic Designer/Assistant Stage Manager; Shaheen Kapambwe, Choreographer Assistant; and other amazing parent volunteers. This presentation of Guys and Dolls Jr. marks the 18th YPAC Theatre Production since Your Performing Arts Center was first opened by Brian and Emily Weber in Yorkville.
