At what level should my speaking skills be in order to join?

ALL levels are welcome. The Toastmasters program meets you where you’re at. Beginner/novice skills grow; moderate skills get enhanced; strong skills get fine-tuned; and expert skills can guide the development of others.

Who is in control of pace/progress through the Toastmasters program?

YOU! You pick the Path (there are 11 from which to choose). You set the pace. A mentor will be assigned, but, ultimately, YOU are in control.

How much does it cost to apply to be a member of Toastmasters?

There is a one-time application fee of $20 charged by Toastmasters International (TI) for getting a member established within the system.

What other costs are there to join?

TI membership dues are $45 for a 6-month period – less for a shorter period. Our local Bridge Builders Club dues are just $5 per membership period; dues can vary by club.
