Tour New Fire Station at June 24 Open House

Plainfield-area residents are invited to the Plainfield Fire Protection District Headquarters Campus, 23748 W. 135^th St., from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 24, to participate in the dedication and tours of the new facilities. 

Guest speakers for the dedication ceremony will include Col. Richard Jaehne, director of the Illinois Fire Services Institute, and Larry Matkaitis, Illinois State Fire Marshall. 

The LifeStar medical helicopter will also visit during the open house. 

Fire district staff will be available to answer questions, there will be giveaways and light refreshments will be served. For more information, call 815-436-5335.
