Turkey Drop Returns to Plainfield Moose Lodge Nov. 22
Donations of frozen turkeys, non-perishable items will help provide Thanksgiving meals to area residents in need.

It’s that time of year again — turkey drop time.
The Plainfield Moose Lodge will host the 15th annual Plainfield Turkey Drop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the lodge, 16310 S. Lincoln Highway.
In exchange for a donation of a frozen turkey, participants are invited to a free brunch at the lodge. Donations of non-perishable items will also be accepted.

Monetary donations are welcome; organizers ask that those donations be made before the Nov. 22 turkey drop to allow lodge members to purchase turkeys prior to the event. Checks should be made payable to the “Plainfield Turkey Drop.”
Businesses that donate will be added to the Moose lodge’s “Bragging Board” of sponsors, which is displayed at the turkey drop.
