Two People Seriously Hurt In Plainfield Rollover Crash
Plainfield fire officials say female postal worker lost control of mail truck and flipped over when she was hit by other vehicle.

Two people were seriously injured in a rollover crash near Plainfield shutting down an area of Rt. 126 during Tuesday afternoon rush hour.
The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday when a postal truck and Volkswagen collided when the postal truck and Volkswagen collided near Rt. 126 and County Line Road.

Plainfield fire officials said the female postal worker lost control of the mail truck she was driving when it flipped over, ABC Chicago 7 reported.

The mail truck was then hit by the Volkswagen.
Illinois State Police originally reported the crash as a head-on collision.
The postal worker was airlifted in serious condition to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
The man in the other vehicle was taken to St. Joseph’s in Joliet. He, too, was seriously injured.
