Upcoming Plainfield Park District November Events!

November 4: Star Wars Family Fun: (program #16413A1) In a galaxy not so far away, a family gathered for an evening of Star Wars fun! You and your little Jedi will get special training from a real Jedi Master and have a real light saber battle. Children will get to create some galactic crafts and play some imperial games. Come dressed as your favorite Star Wars character! Ages 3-12 w/ responsible adult. Cost per person R $12/NR $18 at the Plainfield Township Community Center, 15014 S. DesPlaines St. from 6:30-8p

November 5: A Snoopy Celebration, FREE FAMILY EVENT: at Louis Joliet Mall, 3340 Mall Loop Dr., Joliet. What is black and white and fun all over? It’s SNOOPY! Wear a pair of Snoopy’ ears, playing pin Snoopy on his house and enjoy Snoopy crafts. Join us as we celebrate with Snoopy and friends. Event runs from 10:30a-Noon, while supplies last.

November 26: Village Green Tree Lighting Ceremony, FREE FAMILY EVENT: Did you know that the movie “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” is 50 years old just like the Plainfield Park District? Get in the holiday spirit as we transform the Village Green into Whoville! Event is at Village Green Park, 24121 West Chicago, Plainfield, ceremony begins at 5:30p.
