Village Launches Website To Gather Feedback For Comprehensive Plan
Plainfield officials want residents' feedback: "What should Plainfield look like in the next 20 years and how do we get there?"

PLAINFIELD, IL — Village officials launched a new website to share information and gather residents' feedback to help shape the future of Plainfield.
The village hired Houseal Lavigne, a firm that specializes in community planning, urban design and economic development, to develop a new comprehensive plan — a blueprint to guide Plainfield into the future, officials said.
The goal is to ultimately answer one question: "What should Plainfield look like in the next 20 years and how do we get there?"

The website allows residents to fill out a survey, map their ideas and learn about the plan. With the Map.Social feature, users can drop a pin and leave a comment. It's meant to identify and categorize points of interest.
By filling out the questionnaire, people can answer questions about important issues that they believe the plan should address.
