8. Von Miller- He had a very successful career in college and that has transferred over into a great professional stint in two seasons as a pro. Miller has become a top-five defensive player and linebacker. He claims the eighth spot on my 10 best players list entering the 2013 season despite being suspended the first six games of the season. One thing that stands out about his play is that he brings 100 percent on every play. You have to respect a player who plays hard like that. As a football player, you often hear coach say, “play until the whistle blows.” Miller does just that. He’s a guy that has established himself as a complete linebacker. He can roam into coverage, run from sideline to sideline, tackle in the open field, get past any guy who’s trying to defend. He uses his speed to his advantage. Miller has also proven to be a versatile player who can even line up as a defensive end. He also has the ability to force turnovers; you have to love all those qualities if you are a defensive coordinator. He’s become the main focus to the opposition as it prepares to play the Broncos. You have to keep your eyes on him at all times. Miller’s second season was solid. He recorded 10 sacks in the first nine games of the 2012 season, which made him a defensive MVP candidate. He finished the season third in the league in sacks with 18.5 and was named to the Pro Bowl. If he continues to play like this, Miller will win multiple defensive MVP awards
