Well Hello there!

So I thought I would give this a try.  I like to share my crazy thoughts and adventures, and why not do that here?  Not sure if anyone will even read this, but what the heck.  It's summer, I am off (I teach) and I have the time to do this. 
We are getting ready to head off to Florida for vacation with our best friends.  It is the second time we will be traveling with them, and it's always fun.  My husband, Jim, is the planner, and in the other family, the wife, Dawn,  handles all the details.  So planning is basically them talking while Mike and I, hang out with the 3 year old!!  Honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.  I know that they will put together a great trip.
Huh...I just noticed other people's blogs on the side.  Maybe I'll check them out and see what others are writing about.  I'm new at this, so I'm curious about how it all works.
