WellLife Behavioral Services Announces Second Year of Funding for Grandparents and Other Relatives Caring for Children Program

Richton Park, IL – October 15, 2025 – WellLife Behavioral Services, PLLC, owned by Dr. Linda McClerklin, LCSW, is pleased to announce its continued commitment to supporting local grandfamilies with the second year of funding for the Grandparents and Other Relatives Caring for Children Program. This vital program, funded in whole or in part by the Illinois Department of Aging, provides essential resources to relatives who have stepped up to raise children in the absence of their biological parents.

The program is specifically designed to offer Respite Assistance and Gap-Filling funds. These resources help supplement the financial and emotional needs of grandfamilies, allowing caregivers to take a much-needed break and covering expenses necessary for the child's well-being that may not be met through other means. FOR SOUTH SUBURBAN RESIDENTS.
