Caledonia Man Charged In Criminal Sexual Abuse Investigation

WINNEBAGO COUNTY, IL — The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department said a Caledonia man has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse as the result of an investigation stemming from an Aug. 1 report of sexual abuse involving a juvenile female in the 8600 block of Belvidere Road in Winnebago County. The sheriff's department said a warrant was issued on Sept. 24 for the arrest of 64-year-old Peter E. Holland after detectives investigated the complaint and learned the abuse occurred several times between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2018.

The sheriff's department said Holland is currently at the Winnebago County Jail where he's been charged with three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse involving a victim between the ages of 13 and 17.
