Over a decade ago, the Trinadora Rocks performed their inaugural tribute concert featuring Roy Orbison's music (sung by Ron Holm) and celebrating the legacy of other performers who changed the musical soundscape forever. A standing-room-only audience attended the event, and Concerts On The Creek adopted the program as an annual end-of-May tradition. In addition to Roy's legacy, the 2026 May 30th installment features Linda Ronstadt (sung by Janel Nelson) favorites. The careers of both Roy and Linda intertwined with those of many other stars ranging from Tom Petty to Patsy Cline, and the concert will feature hits by "famous friends". Expect 'must do' hits from last year as well as songs not played in previous years. Cameo songs by stars whose lives intertwined with Roy or Linda too. Janel, Ron, John Bishoff, and Doyle Miller are the Trinadora Rocks band. Doors open at 6pm. Packaged snacks and bottled soft drinks will be available before the concert and during the intermission. There is no admission charge, but goodwill donations from the audience pay the musicians and help to defray the church's event hosting costs (total $10 donation encouraged). Attendance is limited to 150. Those who wish guaranteed open** seating regardless of what time they arrive may make a non-refundable 'earnest money' advanced donation in the form of a $5 ticket at zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/roy-orbison-and-linda-ronstadt-celebration-5-30--26 Those who are unable to buy online may email cotc4500@gmail.com or phone 815.979.1949 for special arrangements.
