Rockford Man Charged In Child Sexual Assault Case: Police
Rockford police said 18-year-old Isaiah King is being charged in a sexual assault case involving a child under 13.

ROCKFORD, IL — Rockford police said an 18-year-old male has been arrested as a result of a sexual assault report investigation over the last several months. According to police, detectives from the Rockford Police Department Sensitive Crimes Unit investigated a report of the sexual assault of a child under 13 years old in the 600 block of Hartford Avenue, leading to the arrest of 18-year-old Isaiah King, of Rockford. Police said King is an acquaintance of the girl's family, and was arrested during a traffic stop Sunday on a warrant after the investigation was reviewed by the Winnebago County State's Attorney's Office.
King is charged with predatory criminal sexual assault and is being held at the Winnebago County Jail with a bond set a t$100,000.
