Toddler Shot During Rockford Home Invasion
Two people were questioned but no arrests were made.

ROCKFORD, IL — A 3-year-old was reportedly shot during a home invasion Thursday afternoon in the 800 block of Concord Avenue in Rockford, according to the Rockford Register-Star. The child's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
Police told the Register-Star a man forced his way into the home sometime after 4 p.m., and at least one shot was fired. The suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot.
It wasn't known if anything was stolen from the home or if the suspect knew the residents. The gunman is described as a black male about 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds, wearing a black hoodie and jeans.

Video from the scene showed police putting up crime scene tape outside the home, and two people were reportedly placed in squad cars for questioning.
