July 15

Kenneth Roecker, 65, of the 0-100 block of Harmony Ln. in Romeoville, was charged with driving under the influence, use of unsafe tire and reckless driving. The arrest occurred in the 200 block of Linden.

July 19

Martha Shaw, 26, of the 200 block of Riley Ave. in Lockport, was charged with theft over $500. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of North Independence.

July 21

A criminal defacement of property was reported in the 0-100 block of Beacon. Someone spray painted graffiti on the garage. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $15.

July 22

John Shragal, 25, of the 14500 block of Thomas Jefferson Dr. in Plainfield, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug equipment and driving without lights. The arrest occurred in the area of Weber and Airport.

July 23

Virgil Burns, 31, of the 700 block of S. Shannon Dr. in Romeoville, was charged with driving under the influence, driving while license restricted, no insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. The arrest occurred in the 1800 block of Grassy Knoll Ct.

Timothy Larcker, 43, of Bridgeview, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Weber Road.

Luis Gaytan-Herrera, 34, of the 1500 block of Sterling Ave. in Joliet, was charged with driving under the influence, driving too fast for conditions, improper lane usage and improper turn.

July 25

Chasty Steel, 19, of the 1900 block of Wheatfield Dr. in Romeoville, was charged with theft under $500. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of South Weber Road.

July 27

Geovanni Stolzenbach, 18, of the 14000 block of Isle Royal Circle in Plainfield, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of Weber Road.

July 28

A criminal defacement of property was reported in the 600 block of South Edward. Someone spray painted graffiti on the walking path. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $25.

July 28

A theft under $500 was reported in the 300 block of North Independence. Someone took a tire rack that was mounted to a vehicle. The vehicle was damaged during the theft. Miscellaneous cleaning supplies were also taken. The tire rack is valued at $150.

July 29

Tyler Stover, 20, of the 400 block of Ascot, was charged with possession of cannabis. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of Ascot.

Ashley Marion, 19, of the 500 block of Concor, was charged with possession of cannabis. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of Ascot.

A 14-year-old juvenile was arrested for possession of cannabis in the 400 block of Ascot.

July 30

Eric Mosley, 20, of the 14100 block of Napa Circle in Plainfield, was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. The arrest occurred in the 1400 block of West Normantown.

July 31

A theft over $500 was reported in the 400 block of South Weber. Someone took a wallet containing $700 from a customer’s shopping cart.

Aug. 1

Ricardo Medina, 23, of the 11300 block of Autumn Ridge Dr. in Orland Park, was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment. The arrest occurred in the 500 block of Belmont.

A theft over $500 was reported in the area of Route 53 and Alexander Circle. Someone took a forklift fork valued at $500 from a piece of construction equipment.

Aug. 3

A motor vehicle theft was reported in the 0-100 block of Kentland. Someone took a vehicle valued at $12,000 from the driveway of the residence.

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported in the 0-100 block of Kentland. Someone took a phone charger from a vehicle parked in the driveway of the residence.
