2 Killed In Domestic-Related Incident Identified By Coroner
Romeoville Police said Saturday the deaths are believed to be "domestic related."
ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Will County Coroner's Office has identified two people who were found dead Thursday on Ponderosa Drive in Romeoville.
Romeoville Police said Saturday the deaths are believed to be "domestic related and there is no expected risk to the community." Officers were dispatched to the home after receiving a report of unresponsive adults.
The coroner's office identified Zena Taher, 27, of Romeoville, who was pronounced dead at 2:47 p.m. Thursday. The coroner's office said she appeared to be the victim of a gunshot wound.

The coroner's office also identified Firas Syriani, 33, of Romeoville, who was also pronounced dead at 2:47 p.m. on Thursday. Syriani also appears to be the victim of a gunshot wound, the coroner's office said.
The Romeoville Police Department is investigating the incident. Both autopsies took place on Friday. The final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date pending police, autopsy, and toxicology reports.
