2015 Poetry Anthology to Include Works from 40 Romeoville Students

Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans will feature work of Irene King students.

Irene King Elementary School will be well represented in the soon-to-be-published Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans.

Literary works by 40 King students have been selected for the upcoming edition including:

First grade--Ana Picchi, Salma Salas and Esteban Vazquez; second grade--Emma Kampwirth, Aniya Warren, Julian Ruvalcaba, Joshua Deutsch, Kaylie Guerrero, Janiya Armstrong and Miranda Zavala; third grade-- Makayla Schultz, Carly Carpenter, Jasmine Wolfe, Carina Wilmington, Vanessa Foltan, Audrey Katauskas, Evelyn Chavarin, Janusz Kozuch, Tyler Unverzagt, Arellys Serrano, Arath Vazquez, Jizele Sims, Farheen Mirza, Samyra Wilson, Demi Cole, Maitaya Childress, Melissa Rosales, Natalie Cavanaugh, and Yuvia Garnica.

Also fourth grade--Marissa Stein, Arely Arreaga, Jordan Armstrong, Kaylan Kadlec, and Jadeyn Smalils; and fifth grade--Natalie Dowell, Kaylee Kasper, Katelyn Carpenter, Lorena Hernandez, Itzel Medina, and Daniela Medina.
