The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The change that has and is taking place in our District due to cultural and economic of the students we serve. I intend to continue to advocate and follow the Mission of the District that every child can and will learn with the right person with the right mindset. The change has to be that we adjust to the children and their needs in order to serve the children, parents, and staff.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am not afraid to stand up for what is rights for this District regardless of who stand with me because I know that I am not standing by myself. I know that Jesus is standing with me and this is what He would do.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)?

N/A

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform:

I am truly representing all people.

If you gain this position, what accomplishment would define your term in office as a success?

We would see that achievement is taking place because we care.

Please share with voters a story about wisdom gained from a mistake you made in your life or career.

I did not speak up at the right time to advocate for something that I truly believed.

Why should voters trust you?

My life has been an open book and I have carried through on those things that I promised to do.

Share a quote that defines your philosophy:

Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.

What questions should be asked of current government employees accountable to your board?

Any question that a parent or community member feels affect their child, school or community.

Explain your attitudes toward fiscal policy, government spending and how taxpayer dollars should be handled by your office (or board)?

Our fiscal decision are open to the public and they have been handled quite well.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

This Board has purchased the necessary things for the District: facilities, technology, curriculum, or personnel that is needed with fiscal responsibility in mind.

The best advice ever shared with me was ...

Forget, love your enemies and those hard to love (unconditionally).

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am a Servant of the Lord Jesus Christ and Member of Alpha Missionary Baptist Church for 33 years and love my job serving low income families from all cultures. I come to this position to serve as I have served in Jerusalem, Africa, Guatemala, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Mexico in March and April and the Navajo Nations in June. I also go into the home of the parents once a week.
