$22K Box Trailer Stolen from Business: Romeoville Blotter

Incidents and arrests occurred between July 3 and July 12.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

July 3

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 900 block of Biltmore Ct. Someone entered the vehicle and took a GPS valued at $120.

July 4

Three teens were arrested for curfew violation in the area of Sutcliffe and Sedgewicke.

July 5

A theft over $500.00 was reported in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive. Someone broke into two vending machines and took approximately $600.

July 7

Jeffrey Holliday, 25, of the 100 block of Cherrywood Ct. in Romeoville, was charged with possession of cannabis. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Weber Road.

James Korosex, of Lemont, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of North Independence.

Dominique Mosby, 23, of Calumet City, was charged with theft over $500, aggravated fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, improper lane use, improper passing on shoulder and speeding more 35 mph. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Weber Road.

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 0-100 block of South Weber Road. Someone entered a parked, unlocked auto and took a purse from inside.

A theft over $500 was reported in the 1200 block of Schmidt Road. Someone took a box trailer valued at $22,000 from the business.

A residential burglary was reported in the 0-100 block of Kentland Drive. Someone took a mini-bike valued at $400 from the garage of the residence.

July 8

Stephanie Jerkovic, 26, of the 300 block of Fairfax, was charged with disorderly conduct. The arrest occurred in the 600 block of Murphy Drive.

July 12

Timothy Van De North, 49, of the 3000 block of Gloria Ln. in Joliet, was charged with obstructing identification, driving while license revoked and failure to signal. The arrest occurred in the area of Weber and Highpoint.
