2nd Memorial Day Festival, Fireworks Planned For Romeoville
The festivities will take place at Mistwood Golf Club.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Mistwood Golf Club, 1700 W. Renwick Road, will host its second annual Memorial Day Festival and fireworks show on Sunday, May 27. The event starts at 4 p.m. and is free to the public. Concessions will be available for purchase, and this year will feature a new Kid's Dash at 5 p.m. and live entertainment from 6 to 9 p.m. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.
This year's musical act is Nick Lynch, a three-time "American Idol" contestant. "He’s a little bit Country, He’s a little bit Rock and Roll, but he is all Party," according to Lynch's Facebook page.
Need a ride? Free shuttle buses will be provided by the Village of Romeoville from 4 to 10 p.m. from the Village Hall parking lot, 1050 W. Romeo Road, and Kenneth L. Hermansen Elementary School on Wesglen Parkway.

Youths ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
