'90s Alternative Rock Band Headlining RomeoFest 2026
RomeoFest is set for Aug. 6 through Aug. 9.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — A leading alternative rock back from the '90s will headline Thursday night at RomeoFest, the Village shared in a news release.
Everclear, which formed in 1992, has had 11 studio releases, including four that have been certified Gold or Platinum, a news release shares. They have sold over 6 million records and achieved 12 Top 40 Hit Singles on Mainstream Rock, Alternative, and Adult Top 40 radio, including “Santa Monica,” “Father of Mine,” “I Will Buy You A New Life,” “Wonderful,” and “Everything To Everyone.”
“It’s a thrill to incorporate such an amazing band into our RomeoFest lineup,” said Mayor John Noak. “2026 RomeoFest is going to offer music from a wide variety of genres and we are proud to bring Everclear to our community.”

RomeoFest is set for Aug. 6 through Aug. 9. The annual four-day summer festival features carnival rides, food vendors, activities, fireworks, a car show, and live music, the Village said.
The Everclear set, just like every performance at RomeoFest, is free to attend and will not require tickets, according to the Village. Capacity limits at the Romeoville Toyota Pavilion may come into play, so be sure to arrive early.
