'American Idol' Finalist to Play at Tailgaters in Bolingbrook

Bolingbrook, IL — An "American Idol" finalist will share the stage with students from School of Rock Plainfield and School of Rock Geneva Monday, Aug. 1 at Tailgaters in Bolingbrook.

Dalton Rapattoni, who quickly advanced to the top three in the last season of "American Idol," was a School of Rock Dallas student from the age of 12 to 18, and then an instructor until his "Idol" journey, according to a School of Rock news release.

Now, Dalton is giving back to the students, as well as other organizations, through the School of Rock Gives Back Tour. The tour will benefit three groups important to Dalton and his family. Through Rapattoni merchandise sales and a raffle to win School of Rock tuition for life, proceeds will be given back to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Rock School Scholarship Fund and New Life Missions Children's Home in Haiti.

$20 per person or $15 per person with a minimum of 4 tickets purchased. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the show starts at 5 p.m. There will be a meet and greet with Dalton after the show. Tailgaters is located at 431 Boughton Road.
