At this year’s State of the Village address, Mayor Noak announced two big companies who have recently opened in Romeoville. Not only do these companies bring good jobs to town, they also diversify Romeoville’s offerings as a community.
The first announcement was Ro, or Roman Health Ventures Inc., a direct-to consumer telehealth company. Ro now occupies a 270,000 square foot research and development facility that serves as the heart of their pharmacy network. The state-of-the-art facility was designed to support innovation and scale for the telehealth company as it advances automation, research and development, and production capabilities. It is believed to be the largest Pharma related investment in the county’s history.
The second announcement was that G&W Electric has expanded into Romeoville and is now set up in a 291,000 square foot space with 200 employees. They create electrical equipment and specialize in power grid solutions and electrical solutions for the utility industry and commercial customers.
“We are very proud that these companies have made a large investment in Romeoville,” said Mayor Noak. “They bring quality jobs and support the long term vitality of our community.”
Combined, the two companies will add hundreds of high caliber careers to Romeoville.
