Produce Pop-Up Planned Wednesday In Romeoville

Registration is not required for the event and volunteers will be on hand to line up and load vehicles with produce.

ROMEOVILLE, IL – Will County residents are invited to attend a drive-up event for free fruits and vegetables in Romeoville on July 29, according to a news release.

The drive-up event is a partnership between Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, State Senator Meg Loughran Cappel, and State Representative Natalie Manley, and is aimed at connecting local households with healthy food options, event organizers said.

The pop-up will run on Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m., or while supplies last. It will be held at the High Point Creative Arts Center at 174 S. Highpoint Drive in Romeoville.

Produce will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, event organizers said. Registration is not required and volunteers will be on hand to line up and load vehicles with produce.
