Retired USF Coach Pat Sullivan to be keynote speaker at annual Will County Youth Provider Networking Summit

JOLIET – Pat Sullivan, former University of St. Francis Athletic Chair and men’s basketball coach, will be the keynote speaker at the Will County Youth Provider Networking Summit 2012 on Friday, April 27.
Hosted by the Workforce Investment Board of Will County and Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships, commonly known as MAPP, the summit will offer education and networking opportunities for those who work with youth in the community, including education, support services and health fields.
The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wallin Conference Center, Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center, 333 N. Madison St. Cost, which includes breakfast and lunch, is $20. Reservations are due Wednesday, April 18.

Sullivan, whose speaking engagements have included IBM and Nike, believes the most important word everyone should know is attitude. A positive attitude has always been Sullivan’s game-changer.

- Trauma and the Developing Brain with Anne Studzinski, managing director of Illinois Childhood Trauma Coalition;
- Digital Pitfalls Encountered by Youth with Sara Migus, internet safety specialist, office of the State Attorney General, and;
- Career Connects Will and Grundy, Jeremy Ly and Tammy Tschida, Career Connects specialists, and Dan Kreidler, Dean of Community and Economic Development at Joliet Junior College.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet Will County youth-focused collaborations and learn about their initiatives during a networking session in the afternoon.
