Annual Romeoville Community Garage Sale To Be Held On May 7

ROMEOVILLE, IL —Local residents who wish to participate in the Village of Romeoville’s annual community garage sale still have time to register, but the deadline is quickly approaching.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 7 but residents must register their home by May 4, village officials recently announced.

Whether residents are buying or selling items during the garage sale, they are invited to participate. On the day of the community sale, no permits are required for the weekend whether residents’ home are listed or not.

The village will publish a map of all of the homes participating in the community sale. The publications will be made available on May 5 at the Romeoville Recreation Center at 900 W. Romeo Rd. and at the Romeoville Village Hall, which is located at 1050 W. Romeo Rd.

Only homes registered by May 4 will be included in the publication, the village said. Residents who wish to register their home may do so here.
