Art Exhibition Runs Through March 18 At Lewis University

The exhibit is free and open to the public.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Lewis University will host an art exhibition by artist Benjamin Calvert through March 18 in the Brent and Jean Wadsworth Family Gallery at the Romeoville campus, according to the university. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

A reception and gallery talk will take place from 7-9 p.m. March 18 at the gallery, the university said. It is also free and open to the public. Visitors are asked to wear face coverings and fill out a health screening form prior to visiting the exhibit.

Benjamin F. Calvert III is a third-generation printmaker. According to the university, his passion for nature is reflected in his use of woodblocks to create relief prints on paper and canvas. Life experiences are translated to two-dimensional works of art.
