Art Out Loud: Teen Poetry and Art Conest at the White Oak library

Calling all teen artists and poets! White Oak Library District is holding an art and poetry contest for teens in grade 7-12. There are five categorizes Poetry, Fanart, Drawing, Painting, and Other ( anything else including photo, digital, and sculpture). Prizes include $30.00 gift cards for each category.

Teens can submit their entries at the Reference Desk at the Crest Hill, Lockport or Romeoville Branches. Teens can also mail their entries, but we must receive them by April 19, 2019. Please email your entries with this form to cshutts@whiteoaklibrary.org or snail mail your entries to: Teen Art Contest c/o Cindy Shutts 201 W. Normantown Road, Romeoville IL 60446.

On April 27, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Romeoville Branch Library, we will be celebrating the artists and poets of the Teen Art and Poetry Contest with a gala. Winners will be announced and light refreshments will be served.
